Important information regarding the renovation of the Frøya tunnel
From the 1st of April 2023 starts the comprehensive upgrading of the Frøya tunnel. Which means that the tunnel will be closed for some periods of time.
The Frøya tunnel will be closed in the following timespans:
Sunday to Friday from 20:30 to 06:00
Friday to Saturday from 20:30 to 08:00
Saturday to Sunday from 20:30 to 10:00
During the closed periods there will be column driving at these times:
From Frøya:
Monday to Sunday at 21:30 and 23:30
Saturday at 06:00
Sunday at 06:00 and 10:00
From Hitra:
Monday to Sunday at 21:45 and 23:45
Saturday at 06:15
Sunday at 06:15 and 10:15
