Dear guests of Hitra Turistservice,
Since June 24th, 21, travelers from the EU and the Schengen area have also the EU solution for Covid-19 certificates in Norway.
Anyone who has an EU Covid-19 certificate that can be checked using a QR code can use it to enter Norway.
Anyone traveling to Norway must always register before arriving in Norway. This applies to both unvaccinated and vaccinated people. Exceptions apply to children under the age of 16.
Anyone coming to Norway is generally required to be tested upon arrival, regardless of vaccination status.
Travelers who do not have a valid EU Covid-19 certificate (fully vaccinated or recovered) can currently enter Norway, but must go into quarantine for 10 days. A test is still required upon entry. The quarantine can be shortened after 3 days with a negative PCR test.
You can read the regulations at Helsenorge.
We would like to point out that the procurement of the EU Covid-19 certificate and compliance with immigration, passport and customs regulations are the sole responsibility of the traveler.
The entry requirements to Norway can change at short notice at any time.
Before you start your journey, find out about the current entry regulations of the transit countries and the conditions of the ferry company. for the outward and return journey. These, too, can change.
